GRIEVANCES

Grievances is a recurring short-form observational series: dry, editorial storytelling about modern work and social behavior, drawn from more than ten years working in fashion media in New York and Paris. Each episode is a “docket,” a single case filed and examined. So far the dockets cover: 1001: getting fired by Kelly Cutrone for not crying 1002: Glamour’s unpaid $175 invoice 1003: Fashion Week’s social confusion: repeated introductions, Instagram mutuals who are strangers in person, seating hierarchy 1004: being ghosted by Highsnobiety’s editor-in-chief across three reschedulings 1005: Elle magazine interview and the “gaps in your resume” question 1006: quitting Oprah Magazine during New York Fashion Week 1007: Lucien Pages explains how his agency allots seating at shows
