Condé Nast Set Out Lawyers for Website Publishing Tell-all with Fired Vogue Director

After 36 years at British Vogue, 25 of those years as Fashion Director, Lucinda Chambers revealed to the fashion journal, Vestoj, that she had been fired by the newly appointed Editor-in-Chief, Edward Enninful, during and encounter she says lasted all of three minutes, and that her firing also came as a surprise to her and most of her colleagues. In the scathing essay, Chambers revealed she hadn't read the magazine in years, criticized hiring policies, called out individuals in the fashion industry and exposed how beholden glossies are to advertisers.

Since the fire storm surrounding Chambers’ ouster, global publishing house Condé Nast has set out lawyers on the site that published Lucinda's juicy tell-all interview.

After posting the story on Tuesday, Vestoj took down the article, then reposted it, then deleted sections upon receiving notice from Condé Nast's legal team. Most notably, Vestoj has removed the text where Chambers claims she was fired by Enninful “in three minutes.”
